Where are you from and where are you now?
I grew up on the Sunshine Coast, it's a super small peninsula community. Everyone thinks it's an island because you have to take a ferry to get there. You're pretty much stuck after 8:30pm. It's just north of Vancouver so as soon as I was done school I naturally ended up moving there.
How long have you been riding?
Got my first BMX video "Debbie Does BMX" in 1997 from then on I was hooked. So 13 years now, makes me feel old for a young dude hahaha...
Top 5 things to ride:
Nothing beats pumping the fuck out of a concrete bowl; Adam Dykes trails are the best in Canada; I'm a huge fan of the bunnyhop so just messing around hopping shit; Kirkstone skatepark in North Van is my go to spot for a good time, you can blast full speed at lines of mess around on a flat rail; last but not least the Igloo, the only piece of sanity during the long, wet Vancouver winters.
Top 5 things to do outside of BMX:
Working with my hands is one of my favorite passtimes, either making art or building ramps to working 40 hours a week building a house; been a pretty big fan of the great outdoors my whole life. Growing up on the coast made for some real creative ways to have fun; traveling is one of the best things in the world. The people you meet and the situations you can get yourself into can teach you who you really are; as simple as it is, just sitting down and having a conversation with someone; spending time with my family and close friends.
